Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our App:

AI Analysis Service (OpenRouter):

  • Your dream descriptions are sent to our AI service provider for interpretation
  • This provider is contractually obligated to protect your data and not use it for training or other purposes
  • Dream content is processed temporarily and not stored by the AI provider

Backend Infrastructure (Convex):

  • All your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers provided by Convex
  • Data is encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Convex provides database and backend services

Subscription Management (RevenueCat):

  • Subscription status and purchase information is processed through RevenueCat
  • RevenueCat integrates with Apple's In-App Purchase system
  • No payment card information is stored in our App (handled by Apple)

Authentication Service:

  • Email-based authentication is managed through Convex Auth
  • We do not store passwords; authentication tokens are securely managed

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, such as:

  • In response to a valid legal request (subpoena, court order, etc.)

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your dreams, analyses, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Data Portability

You can export all your dream data in a standard format (JSON) through the App's Settings.

Opt-Out Rights

  • Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings
  • Email Communications: You can unsubscribe from promotional emails (we'll still send essential account-related emails)

Rights Under GDPR (EU Users)

If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights:

Rights Under CCPA (California Users)

Data Retention

Active Accounts:

  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide services

Deleted Accounts:

  • After account deletion, most data is removed within 30 days
  • Some data may be retained for legal or security purposes for up to 90 days
  • Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics

Subscription Data:

  • Subscription records are retained for tax and legal compliance purposes for 7 years after account deletion

Dreamland is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will delete it.
